I have been asked by a number of supporters to provide some resources I reference in my pursuit of accurate, honest sources for news and commentary. We've been led to believe that unless our information is coming from a "reliable source", or more accurately pushing the narrative of the U.S. Government, then it's unreliable, misinformation.
The Corporate/Government aligned media has had a monopoly on the news and information space for far too long. The propaganda campaigns directed at the American people have become increasingly ineffective as a direct result of the dedicated work of the independent journalists seeking to inform the public. As a result of the changing landscape, the U.S. government has turned to different forms of censorship, intimidation, and coercion in their best attempt to keep the masses misinformed in order to generate the manufactured consent needed for continued public support of their misdeeds.
The below links may contain perspectives the reader disagrees with or flatly rejects, but it's important they consider the information, verify receipts, and come to their own conclusions. When we stop testing our convictions and understandings of the world, we fail to evolve our thinking as we're presented with new information.
So, take a moment and explore some of the alternative viewpoints below, ideally with a willingness to question everything we've been led to believe for most of our lives.
Lastly, when looking into new resources, often time, the first inclination of the reader is to refer to a web search to 'help' them determine whether or not the journalist or platform is 'credible'. The corporate sponsored 'fact check'/'media credibility' websites have been proven deceitful time and time again. If reader's can't get past what they're being told to believe, there's more work to do, and that work should never stop.
*Note- the below resources are not endorsements of positions or conclusions expressed by the authors. I have no association with any of them, I am simply sharing resources to consider.
'The Daily Wrap Up' is an excellent program about current events.
The Corbett Report
Excellent full length documentaries, always with receipts.
Expansive collection of important current events updated daily.
Kevork Almassian (Syriana Analysis)
The Disturbing Illusion (YouTube)
So, that's a start. Again, we will not/should not, agree on everything. But, when we refuse consideration of alternative ideas which contradict the mainstream, we cease to grow and evolve our understanding of the world. And that's never to our benefit.
In the words of Ryan Cristian: "Question everything and come to your own conclusions."
